Celebrity Tattoo of Day (305 Edition): Nayer

Nayer_Pic02    In the Spring of 2011, I spent several days in Las Vegas for a friend’s bachelor party (don’t worry, no face tattoos or missing teeth or unexplained tigers resulted).  It was a great trip that left me with a lot of fun memories.  One of the ones that sticks with me was hearing the song “Give Me Everything” playing regularly in the casino at Circus Circus and at various other spots in Vegas.  For me, it will always be associated with a good time.  The song, which pairs rapper Pit Bull and singer Ne-Yo, features the pleasing vocals of Miami-based pop star, Nayer.

Nayer_Pic01   As a teenager, Nayer got her start in music by participating in the 2003 reboot of “Star Search” and performing on Univision entertainment staple “Sabado Gigante”.  In 2007, she linked up with her fellow Miami-based Cuban, Pitbull, and got exposure to the singing and song-writing game.  She also appeared in several Pitbull videos and helped craft some of his songs.  She scored a Top 20 hit along side Enrique Iglesias and Usher in the song “Dirty Dancer”.  Her biggest success, “Give Me Everything”, made it all the way to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (before being displaced by the now legendary “Party Rock Anthem”).  She is continuing to work on her solo career and developing her own albums for release.

Nayer_Pic03    It should come as no surprise that a curvaceous beauty like Nayer would show off her form in some sexy photos shoots.  The pics from those shoots show off some of Nayer’s personal body art.  In one photo, you can see that she has a script tattoo of her name ‘Nayer’ along her left bikini line.

Another photo shows a calligraphic ‘R’ (likely representing her last name Regalado) above her right posterior.
