Update (05/25/14): Despite appearing in numerous different photos, it appears that the owl tattoo on Sara’s arm was not a real one. Still, she seems to like it and, one day, it may become permanent. So, we will leave the pictures in.
Disney, Nickelodeon and Discovery Kids are just a few of the networks that act as a ‘minor league’ for aspiring young actors and actresses. The transition to the ‘major’ leagues can sometimes go smoothly (such as with Selena Gomez, Hilary Duff, and Mandy Moore); it can have growing pains (such as Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato); or it can be a veritable train-wreck (see Britney Spears and Amanda Bynes).
For all intents and purposes, it appears that actress/model/singer Sara Paxton falls into the ‘smooth transition’ category. After getting her television start at the tender age of 8 on the kid’s game show “Small Talk”, Sara has worked steadily and successfully so far through her first quarter century.
Sara followed her debut with cameo and small roles in movies like “Liar, Liar” and “Soldier”, as well as TV shows like “News Radio” and the daytime soap “Passions”. After that, she nabbed a recurring role in the WB comedy “Greetings from Tucson”, where she got to get a little closer to her Mexican heritage (on her mother’s side). Following that, she worked on the summer series “Summerland” with Lori Loughlin.
After nearly a decade of acting, 2004 saw Sara score her first multi-year starring role as the lead character in the Discover Kids series “Darcy’s Wild Life” where she plays the spoiled daughter of an actress who has to learn to adjust to life in the ‘middle of nowhere’ when her mother decides they should go live on a farm.
Sara has had additional starring roles in “Aquamarine” and “Sydney White”; and she has 6 films in the pipeline for 2013 releases. This hard-working woman also has a singing career that she hopes to combine with her acting to one day start her own production company.
The earliest one that was seen on her was bikini-line design that looks like it could be a bird of some kind.
Finally, Sara made a very bold declaration of her love of tattoos with a colorful owl design on her left bicep. As it has been visible in many different picture sets, from casual to glamorous, it is definitely not a temporary design.

We look forward to Sara’s future performances and her future body art endeavors.
